It only takes 10-15 minutes and I get annoying to severe pains in the muscles on the top of my hand between the wrist and the base knuckle of my fingers (excluding the little finger and thumb). I can switch the mouse between my left and right hand and that helps for awhile. I'm 55 but I don't have any arthritis symptoms when I don't use the computer. Sorry for not knowing the specific muscle or joint names. Metatarsals? Anyway, I didn't see a mouse model that minimizes the pain in this area.
